Psychological and Emotional  Abuse Assessments

R.I.S.E. Consulting provides specialized forensic psychological and emotional abuse assessments to support legal cases involving trauma and victimization.  Our trauma-informed evaluations deliver critical insights for attorneys and empower victims seeking justice. Guided by our mission—Respect, Influence, Succeed, Empower—we strengthen criminal, personal injury, domestic violence, and VAWA cases with evidence-based reports.

Our assessments employ validated tools to evaluate trauma-related symptoms such as anxiety, depression, and post-traumatic stress. Dr. Merizier’s expertise, informed by her research on racial trauma and victimization, ensures a thorough analysis of non-physical abuse patterns like gaslighting, manipulation, and coercive control. Adhering to American Psychological Association forensic guidelines, our reports provide objective, legally admissible findings that contextualize trauma-driven behaviors.

For attorneys, these assessments are vital for building robust cases. They offer clear, documented evidence of psychological harm, strengthening arguments for defense, mitigation, or victim compensation. In domestic violence or VAWA cases, our evaluations substantiate claims of emotional abuse, enhancing legal outcomes. For victims, the assessments validate their experiences, fostering empowerment and aiding recovery by giving voice to their trauma in court. These insights can influence sentencing, compassionate release decisions, or immigration relief, making them indispensable for achieving justice.

Contact us at (850) 296-8889 or riseconsultingllc@outlook.com to learn how our assessments can enhance your case or support victim advocacy.
